Hi, I’m Kendall or KAAE — a film and digital photographer who’s always been drawn to storytelling.

I grew up in the Pacific Palisades. A sunny town in Los Angeles, California. I always had big dreams of a life in creation and entertainment. I grew up in love with the simple art of storytelling. Whether that be through fine arts or any other creative outlet, it did and does not matter. I love it all.

In the past few years, I endured a major change in my life. Losing my home and my town in the Palisades Fires of January 2025. Living through the fires changed the way I see memory and impermanence. I found much comfort in photography. Film in particular. A lot of my work is about holding onto moments — capturing light, emotion, and places before they shift.

Outside of photography, I’m a writer at heart. I write screenplays, novels, poetry, and music, and I play guitar and piano.  I also love to draw. No matter the medium, I’m just trying to tell honest stories.
